Handkerchief Healing

A while back, a man in our church asked us to pray for a person who was unwell. He used a handkerchief anointed with our prayers to bring healing to this person. This person was healed, and the man kept the handkerchief. Recently, the same man knew of a woman who was in hospital with a burst oesophagus. He took the anointed handkerchief into hospital and laid it across the woman. This lady was discharged later that week, and doctors had found nothing wrong with her. What an amazing example of how powerful prayer can be!

Money matters

One girl was struggling with finances recently. She had just moved out of home was looking for work. She felt challenged to bless someone with the little money that she did have, and when she did, she was provided with a large sum of money in return.

Another occasion saw a girl needing to pay for a phone bill without having the necessary money in her budget. After praying for provision, she was approached by a woman at a church service who was told by God to bless her with money. The amount given was the exact amount needed to cover the outstanding bill!

We also recently heard a story of a lady who has also been struggling with finances and who had a couple of debts overshadowing her ability to save money. She was challenged to open a savings account with the view of regularly contributing to this fund. Once she opened this account, she received her tax refund which was enough to clear her car loan, and she had news that a $20 000 debt had also been dropped. What an awesome reward for meeting the challenge!

He provides

Lately we have heard a number of testimonies that show us how God provides for the things we care about, big or small. One mother places a lot of importance on tithing for provision for her family. One week she was disappointed that she did not have enough money to tithe and still have enough money for the weekend. Recently, however, she had recommended a man for a job, and the very weekend that she was low on funds, this man showed up on her doorstep with the money that she needed - known in tradie's language as the "spotter's fee", but known to us as God's provision.

On that same weekend, another lady was headed to a very busy shopping complex for a time of retail therapy. Which is all very well, once you have found a parking spot! On this day, the car park was particularly crowded, so this lady asked God to help her out. He then promptly directed her to the next row of parks where she found her spot. Quickly and conveniently, as parking should be!

We've also been shown how God provides encouragement through people. One of the members of our church has been helping out a troubled young girl with court proceedings, going with her to solicitors appointments etc. It has been a very stressful time. This lady was encouraged though, when a unrelated person handed her a gift and told her it was a thankyou for helping out the girl. She immediately felt the love of God.

Peace

A few weeks ago, one girl took a day off from her stressful job to find some peace. Wanting to relax and feel joy, she took herself down to her favourite beach and went for a walk to a quiet lookout. As she overlooked the scene before her, she was awed by the beauty, but wanted more. So she said to God, "This is awesome, but I want more. If you are here with me, show me some dolphins!" Seconds later, she shifted her gaze and there they were! A pod of three dolphins that swam and leapt and put on a show for the next thirty minutes before they disappeared. They took her breath away. What an amazing display of God's love as He provided the joy and peace that this girl wanted, in such a unique way!

Buy, rent, sell.

In the last month or so, we have heard a number of testimonies relating to the buying, selling or renting of houses. One man was given notice of the intention to sell the property he was renting, which left him with only a short amount of time to find a new home, in a area where rentals are in high demand. But with God involved in the house hunt, not only did he find a house, it was also the first house he applied for! A stressful experience was made short and simple.

One member of the church had a stepdaughter looking to buy a nice, affordable home. All of the houses she had looked at had been far too expensive. Wanting his stepdaughter to find a home, this man prayed for the right one to become available. His prayer was answered when his daughter was approved for a house that was in the area she wanted and was well under budget.

Another man has a mother who's health was failing, which meant that she could no longer live in her house. Wanting to sell the house quickly without hassle, he prayed and the house was promptly sold - over the asking price! Encouraged by this testimony, another man in the church decided to pray for his own mother's house that had been on the market for a long time. His prayers were also answered when that house was sold! This showed us all that not only are these testimonies important to the person telling the story, but also to those who hear it. What happens to one person can be such an encouragement to someone else!

Healing

Recently, we were asked to pray for a pregnant lady who had gone into multi-organ failure. She had just discovered she was 10 weeks pregnant, but doctors told her that her organs were shutting down and she faced a stay in hospital for the duration of her pregnancy. She has young children as home, and her husband could not afford to take 30 weeks off work to care for the family. The church prayed for her and her condition improved. Her organs are now functioning normally and she was able to go home. Doctors had not treated her, she just "fixed herself". Praise God for this amazing healing!

A New Era

Welcome to Cardinia Christian Centre's first official blog! It seems we have reached the technological era. Not only do we have this blog, but we also have a facebook page and the beginnings of our own website. Which is awesome, because the more opportunities we have to connect with people and share our stories, the more people will get to hear God's word and be encouraged by His love for us!

This blog is being written to not only document the testimonies that come from within our church, but also to encourage everyone who reads it. By sharing these testimonies online, people can read back over them and see how God has healed/provided/answered/cared/loved His people. What an awesome encouragement. God is so good!

If you have a testimony to share, please email it to ccctestomonies@live.com.
